Tensile webbing cinches both the lateral and medial arches of the upper to reinforce its construction and deliver an improved midfoot lockdown that alters when the laces are tightened to provide an adaptive, personalised fit. An open mesh upper allows air to permeate the shoe and improve its ability to breathe whilst a series of leather overlays work in concert with the midfoot webbing to further enhance its structural integrity. An open weave bull-head mesh has been applied across the quarter panel to further improve breathability throughout the midfoot.

The midfoot boasts a Reslon foam compound that delivers resilient, supportive cushioning whilst an encapsulated Nike Air unit improves the shoe's cushioning longevity, ensuring that performance is maintained over an extended period of time. An integrated, articulated crash pad that has been supplemented with horizontal side cuts delivers superb shockwave attenuation by absorbing the initial, abrupt shock of impact and softening the transition from heelstrike to midstance.

A solid rubber, waffle cut outsole delivers durable grip and ample traction on an array of surfaces, whilst a series of rubber blades positioned toward the lateral side act as a supplementary cushioning unit by folding at impact.
