The VivoBarefoot Ultra Pure Running Shoe features a mono-piece construction with a 3D upper-outsole and non-toxic, dual density EVA for superb comfort and support.

At just 100 grams this lightweight, amphibious runner doesn't feature the traditional VivoBarefoot puncture resistant outsole, making it more ideal for less rugged terrain, allowing you to shed weight for a more pure experience. The outsole is constructed from a 7mm abrasion resistant injected EVA sole which compresses to 3mm with continued use, offering maximum proprioception and continuous protection.

  • 3D Upper/Outsole Construction - Perforated, abrasion resistant EVA delivers effective, protective comfort.
  • Elastic Lacing System - Elastic cord and lock lacing offers a quick and easy solution, with a personalised fit.
  • Amphibious Sole - Designed for optimal performance in water, the injected EVA sole offers ample durability, grip and traction in adverse conditions.
  • 7mm Outsole Thickness - Compresses to 3mm with use over time, offering optimal proprioception and continuous protection.
  • 100% Vegan.
  • Weight - 100 grams.

MINIMALIST RUNNING / BAREFOOT RUNNING

With 200,000 nerve endings, 33 major muscles, 28 bones and 19 ligaments, the human foot is a biomechanical masterpiece.
No heel, no midsole, no arch support, no gimmicks! VivoBarefoot helps encourage us to move as million years of evolution intended - barefoot. The VivoBarefoot difference is in the sole. They make a series of constructions specifically designed for varying elements, terrains, and activities.
Many experts believe the shoes we wear not only cast the foot in a protective form, but can also weaken our foot and leg muscles, leaving them underdeveloped and more prone to injury. While there are many occasions where traditional footwear is essential for protection, safety, and security, it is equally important to stimulate and exercise our feet in a more natural state on a regular basis.
